LS MT 125 (still waiting for delivery)
So I found this bolt laying on my floor board. Had no idea where it came from. The other day I noticed that my seat was kind of flimsy. Upon further inspection I noticed a bolt missing on the hinge that allows the seat to flip up. This is for the MT125 that has the backhoe. It’s a different seat. I put the bolt back in and noticed the other side was loose. Just take a moment to check yours out before use next time. I was lucky the bolt didn’t fall off the tractor. It’s a special bolt, not something you can buy at a local hardware store.

Its a good idea to check all the obvious bolts and screws periodically. Especially when you take delivery of a new tractor. even the owners manual states to check the torque on the frame bolts and wheel bolts.

A seat bolt would be easily missed. Well, until you find it in the driveway and wonder where it came from. You can never quite fix what could be an issue, until its an actual issue.

For me, I regularly check the frame bolts, wheel bolts, pins, and any other screws or bolts that have given me grief before.

Last year, while driving down my driveway, my hood suddenly popped up. The screws that hold the hood latch came loose and were somewhere in the driveway, lost. I had to replace them (easy enough) but now I always look up at that latch, just to make sure it's got all its screws.
