MS261 C-M Spark Plug

My 261 has been easy to start and runs great. But after some years and hours it is probably needing a new spark plug. "No problem", I says to myself. But, "Whoa" I can't even get a socket on the plug what with all the rubber "stuff" surrounding & above the plug. The OE manual show no such "stuff" around the plug. Anybody.... tell me about this???

push your scrench down around the plug it takes a little force.

I was able to to get a 19mm open end wrench on the plug this morning, but decided to see what Y'All had to say. Even with the plug loose, it looked difficult to wiggle it out from all the surrounding rubber "stuff" which look like it is part of a circuit board

I used a couple of her videos while working on an 021. Was helpful to see what was removed during some steps of repair. Otherwise I probably would have snapped some plastic parts. Especially after being torn apart over a week and a half while ordering parts and working on other projects.
