John Deere GT 275
Hello all! I am a new member to the forum. I have a John Deere GT 275. Almost 20 years old. It has been a work horse. I was mowing when it went dead. No power at all. No idiot lights come on when trying to start. I thought it was the battery so I had it checked and it is fine. Checked all the wires I could see and could not find any obvious breaks. Battery Terminals are clean. Fuses on the starter circuit board look good. Any ideas? I guess I should add That I live in the mountains of North Carolina and I rolled it a week or so before this happened but it was doing fine for awhile afterwards. Yea, I won't do that again!!! :confused2:

Welcome to TBN.
Sorry it's dead, but the roll almost certainly is a factor. Could be anything at this point, cracked circuit board, loose/broken safety switch, etc. Sometimes things don't break completely during the roll but show up later as an aftereffect of it.
Look again and carefully check the battery for loss of acid, cracks in case, etc.

I would load test the battery. I think the battery broke a plate inside.

The last battery in my motorcycle tested 12v, but had no amps. Only could tell by load testing.

With no lights or nothing at all coming on, I wouldnt suspect the battery. More likely to be a bad/loose connection somewhere.

Check out all the safetys. Seat safety, neutral/clutch safety, PTO safety, etc. Also check out the ignition switch itself.
