Mower Axle Review

Just received my mower deck axles from Larry at www.moweraxle.com I considered and even found all the parts to fab them up myself but I would have had to farm out the lathe work for the axles (I own a mill but not a lathe...yet).

At any rate they are very well made, and he seems to have put a lot of attention to detail into them...even for a simple machine. They work like a champ on my 60" Kubota deck...well worth the money IMO. Kubota should consider these as an option since there is not a way to store the deck vertically and keep it mobile. VERY heavy btw.

Yes, they are nice to have. I have had mine for 8 or more years and use them all winter. Larry is a great gut to work with as well.

Larry also makes great front license plate holders for many cars. He machines tem out of alum and they screw into the front tow hook mounts that many German cars have. Saves drilling holes n the plastic bumpers. Besides Larry is a nice guy and enjoys talking machinery
