Thought everyone might enjoy video I made moving some dirt with my L3301 and front loader.

I’m really enjoying the HST for loader work. I don’t like the pump whine but HST beats having to use clutch all the time.

This tractor has the Piranha tooth bar on it from BXPanded. Hot knife through butter is all I have to say. I have one on my 72” bucket as well. They are excellent tooth bars and highly recommended.

If you have any questions please let me know!

Thanks for sharing your video. I really like my little L tractor too, but could do without so much HST whine.

If anyone noticed, you can see how well Kubota hydraulics work. It's very easy raise/curl or dump/curl at the same time.

Yes the HST is my major dislike on the tractor. Not sure why Kubota hasn’t improved it. I know the Grand L’s are much quieter on HST noise. Maybe they make the cheap L’s loud on purpose. )0:

You are right... the loader control is excellent. Extremely smooth and predictable. I prefer the loader control with joystick directly on the valve. Gives the operator great feel and control. The joysticks that Work through a cable system aren’t as precise in my experience. Thanks for the comments!

Have you ever changed your hydraulic fluid in your L3901?

You have a really long selfie stick. Where I was working yesterday there was a New Holland tractor working about the same size as your L and it had the Hst whine.

Not yet (140hrs on the clock) so I’ve only done the filter change. When I do change the oil, I’m going to put Sudt 2 in it.

Lol!! Yeah that selfie stick really extends out!

That’s interesting about the New Holland whine. I guess many of the have it. Seems like the bigger the tractor the bigger the whiner! Lol

That’s what I put in mine. I think it did improve noise levels some... Not a bunch but some.

Just ordered my pirana for my 3940 after watching video, came in yesterday and man this thing is built like a rock! Very impressed with the quality of the bucket attachment for sure! Can't wait to drill it and install it later this week, Very nice quality on this one.

I think you will really like it! Like you said it’s made very well. The tooth bar helps to reinforce the bucket edge too.

Like I said in my video I have a Piranha on my L3830 bucket too. Never had an issue with them and they stay sharp.

The tooth bar reduces stress on the loader and tractor... it’s like cutting with a dull knife versus a sharp knife. The serrations of the tooth-bar produce extremely high pressure when cutting which easily breaks up hardened dirt, clay and sod. Because cutting is so much easier, it’s much easier for operator to control depth and levelness of cut.

Did you get your tooth bar mounted? You will have to post some pics when you do
