Moving a 210 Loader Ala Carte

So I sheared the pump input shaft on my 2210 , and it's down and immobile until I come up with the money for Deere to fix it. The 210 loader, which is detached, is sitting in a spot in the shed that I need for another piece of equipment. I plan to move it by slinging it with my my other end loader, but I can't even imagine what's going to happen to its delicate, ready-to-mount, geometry, when I lift it with another machine.

Anybody done this before? Am I opening a can of worms or will it re-configure for re-mounting pretty easy? I'll take a reference picture so I can get it back into the same(ish) geometry in its new spot.

never have done this before, but i dont see what harm you can do. the closed hydraulics will remain closed. nothing should move too much. worst case, you will need to reposition it to reinstall, using the other tractor again to reposition it.

That's true, the hydraulics should stay put. I can probably re-position the dangly kickstand part when I set it down. My 2210 is an early 2005 model and I don't know if they refined the system after that.

Yea, I moved it and it went fine. Any dangly parts were a figment of my imagination, the locked in hydraulics made it behave like a brick.

Just so this thread isn't a total waste, here is a pic of where the center-of-gravity is. I have a 100# toothbar on my bucket and it was a smidge front heavy using this as a CG.

Now set it off on a pallet with caster wheels and just roll it around wherever "out of the way" is for the moment.

Helps to have the pic to see that the FEL looks similar to others.
