Move hose with quick disconnect between loader and 3ph top link

I have not seen this addressed when I searched the posts.

I have a need for the 3ph top link to be hydraulicly activated but will have no need for the bucket while I'm using the 3ph. Instead of using a remote or a diverter is it possible to quick disconnect one of the hoses to the loader and quick connect it to the 3ph top link cylinder? If so, can it be either the up and down OR the curl?

Sure it is possible. Most people use the bucket curl function when using a diverter so I would use it for what you want to do also. You would need to put QD's on both the work port hoses for the curl spool.

Thanks Mad, I already have a QD on my loader hoses. I'll also put one on for the Top link. If my idea works ( or not ) I'll post some pictures. Right now I'm not going to say what it is but when you see it (if it works), you'll dig it.

The problem I've run into with my Kubota B7510HST 21hp CUT is that they make regular attachments for CUT's but there alot of attachments that are made for larger tractors and skidders that I could use, especially with a real bad back, but they're not made for CUT's and SCUT's. We'll just see about that. (I Hope)

Yes, you can do it, but it becomes a real PITA. I did this on my old Ford 1700, to run a PHD assist, and grapple. Even a manual diverter valve is better than swapping hoses around, if you dont want the $$$$ of an electronic setup (Fasse or WR Long). I went with the Fasse on my JD, and very glad I did.

I was going to say that Mad has a good point about using the curl if you can. Otherwise, if your loader arms leak down for whatever reason, you're kinda screwed and have to switch them back again.

If you want to get around the expense of a solenoid valve or add an additional valve, you could use a manual selector valve. That way all you would need to buy would be the valve and a couple more hoses.
