Mounting a ball on my bucket?

I was going to mount a 2" receiver to my FEL so I could move trailers around. I figured I'd need to weld something. Instead, I fund the Titan Clamp on Bucket Hitch. Mounts just like my Hay Forks. Can add any size ball hitch I need. I already have all three sizes mounted on slide-in males.

I just welded 2" receivers on the FEL and box blade. I didn't want to drill it, and didn't want wrenches to change the ball size, plus a receiver will take a clevis, hook, pintle, vise, etc.

Most tongue weight I have empty is on about a 3000# equipment trailer at about 500#, and it has put a rear tire up on an angled turn on a grade in the past using the bucket. I make sure I'm in 4wd, and go as low & slow as possible, and always keep in mind that tongue weight is not a fixed factor, but varies with heights & angles

You know your machine & it's limits quick with a trailer, as with FEL use, so if it gets the back too light, you (hopefully) won't chance it.

If you have a welder, I'd go for the tube route.

Many good ideas out there to pick from.

Years ago I bolted down an old step bumper 2 inch receiver to my bucket for such purposes...do they even make that style anymore?
