ok you guys helped me out back in 2011 with mine mott kb48 flail mower that I bought had it painted red.
Anyway the gear box was empty of fluid and shafts had rust on them. My friend buffered them and put new seals on them.
they worked till I actual ran the machine and they all leak.
( any ideas about that would be helpful also)
Back when I was talking with you guys I said when I ran the unit without this guard on it ( which isn't in the instructions and parts list)that the grass is blowing up all over the tractor.
I put guard on and got new blades and have been using it to mow my lawn.
I just bought another mott on ebay haven't picked it up yet it has the ring mounted with the knives.
I need to know how to set the flail mower up so the rocks and grass don't get thrown up and hit me in the head while I'm mowing.
Also I don't know how to attach a pdf seems to only allow photos. I was going to put up the instructions and parts manual.
