The dealer did the 50 hour service in my Kubota and I did the next oil change at 100 hours.
I went to the dealer to purchase the oil and filter for my Kubota so that I would not have a problem with
warrantee issues should one arise. The dealer gave me the correct Kubota filter and the correct
amount of 5W/40 Castroil, which is a brand I perfer. I questioned them about the oil over what
Kubota recommends, they said this oil would be fine they use it all the time.

I'll probaby stick with the Kubota filters as the oil and filter cost just under $20.00.

If you have a diesel, the best choices are WIX oil filters, and Shell Rotella T oil. Avoid Fram! There are a number of web sites that will verify that the only thing superior about FRAM is their advertising budjet. Even the generic WALMART filter tests far better than FRAM. WIX has a website that will cross reference almost any filter number. Since they are primarily a heavy duty agricultural/racing filter, they may not be too available in many urban areas. But, if you can get them, they are worth it...and they usually cost less than the Kubota filters. BTW, does anyone know who makes Kubota filters?
