Strange thread to resurrect.....but you are probably an exception - very small % of people who comparison shop.
I'm sure many people are quite happy with their Mahindra machines and get lots of good use from them. But they quickly fell to bottom of my list when actually doing real life honest comparisons (i.e. not an excel spreadsheet) of competing brands. At the time I was shopping 35HPish size, and other than length of warranty could not find anything as a positive attribute on Mahindra vs Kubota. LS, or Kioti. Granted, just MY experience for what was important to ME, and from ONE dealer's quotes/samples. But directly comparing I left the Mahindra dealer with a very negative perception of the brand - went in neutral. Was very unpleasantly surprised to find that a similar spec'ed Kubota was less OTD since I was expecting a fair price discount comparing Kubota vs Mahindra. I'm glad you like yours and hope it serves you very well for many years......but as far as "bang for the buck" I just couldn't see it in Mahindra - unless you put a LOT of value on +1 year warranty. Of course, the ONE dealer I visited could have just been very proud or my timing was very poor and there were 0 incentives in play? Who knows???? But the other 3 brands were all a better "value", regardless of price tag (but oddly enough Mahindra was priced excessively high comparatively).
