most FRS radios have headset jacks. Chatterbox makes GMRS and FRS radio specificly for motorcycle riders. It fits on the helments.

Your right about GRMS radios neediing a license. Motorola has a couple models they are selling as FRS/GMRS radios. They require a license. Haven't used one so I have no Idea about the acutal compatability with basic FRS radios. Also If someone is looking for the ultimate FRS radio Garmin is coming out with a FRS radio and GPS combination. If you have a pair of these you can actually send your GPS location to the other unit. Won't be cheap though. You can see them at
