Hi there, quick question regarding my Mahindra.. it has a ml108H loader on it. Seems smooth going up and dumping but extremely sensitive and quick jerking when lowering..

Using some clamp on forks the past two days to move some 10ft logs around my property and raising it is smooth… but tilt down or drop is dangerously jerky.. even when you try to baby it.

Any adjustments on the spool valve or is that just the way they are?

There are no adjustments on the valve. Some valves have significantly better metering characteristics than others which is what allows the precise movements.
A band aide is to put an adjustable flow control in the lower and tilt line on the loader to limit how fast it will move in lower and tilt.

Real fix is finding a FEL valve with great metering in the flow range of your tractor.

Since the "Float" and "Fast Dump" settings are on the two motions your having trouble slowing down, I'd bet there is still something that's not quite right with that valve. It sounds like instead of controlled decent, it's going straight to bypass.
