Is there any accessory that PT doesn't make, but should?

If you need ideas...check these options...;)

This would be great if you had to vacuum leaves off the road:

Unfortunately, it looks like it would be a pain to actually use it anywhere you had to turn a corner or maneuver around a tree. LOOK! There goes the leaf train!

Jackhammer and vibrating plate would be great.

Just some thoughts from looking at similar, more expensive machines.

Perhaps a front-tipping bucket to make up for the limited lift height:

A land plane or leveller -- though the slotted bottom of the new grapple may work, or they'd be easy to build:

A true rock or root bucket, perhaps with a grapple:

That's a 21 degree slope limit, with a rigid articulation.

Lots of cool attachments though, including a telescoping arm.

I was looking at the specs of the 600 It says it can lift 1400 K but tips at 1100K... Hmmm.....

I think it is saying that the hydraulic lift power is sufficient to lift 1400 KG but that the tipping load is 1100 KG.

In the US the rated load for skid steers and other equipment is 1/3 or 1/2 the tipping load--depending on the specific standard that applies. However, as has been discussed elsewhere, it appears that Power Trac does not compute the lifting capacities using generally applied standards--rather PT lists a rating more like that for the machines listed in the Technical Data link--either hydraulic lifting capacity or tipping load.

So, this is what confuses me. The GEHL says it can lift 1400 KG but is going to tip over at 1100 KG. So, hey, even though you are nose down in a ditch you can still lift 1400KG? I am so confused...

A few missing accessories I would like to see:

An owner's manual showing the actual number of grease fittings and locations of hydraulic items on a 425 like the one I bought.

An electrical diagram.

A hydraulic circuit diagram that resembles how the PT is actually plumbed.

Personally, I've always found it would be quite useful to be able to lift myself out of ditch, since I seem to have no difficulty finding my way into a ditch... :p

I don't think they have the ability to print a good schematic for the electrical, or hydraulic circuits. It's a d#%n shame that the only one that knows any thing about the PT is Terry. They would be so embarrassed if we came up with a decent operation manual with lots of pictures showing all the key points and lubrication guides, electrical diagrams in detail, detailed hydraulic circuits discriptions that actually go with the model of PT with a certain engine. and sold it to PT owners as the only manual to have for the PT. How about a weight list for all the implements . How about a detailed parts manual. Good Luck. The best fix-it data comes from this forum.
