The gas blower ban has passed in many areas and others will follow. The CA ICE car ban is well known. The MN small engine ban, who knows.

But you’re avoiding the poop you stepped in. You said “lots of groups have agendas. Few are successful”
I countered that the “agendas” you downplay have actually become legislation. I’d consider an agenda becoming legislation VERY successful.

And another thing: “majority support” doesn’t always work, either.

Ok. We will see. I don’t think this current legislation will be successful, and don’t see CA enforcement being successful either. Unless you can see the future, we’ll see how this plays out.

My two stroke doesn't pollute much... it hasn't moved from the shed where I put it 3 years ago.
Someday I'm going to have a bigger boat with about a 20hp 4-stroke, but I won't spend the money until I start using the one I have.
!2 foot aluminum with a 3 hp Evinrude... it's like a moped on the water.

When I was 12 and older I had a 12' aluminum V hull boat ('Tarpon Special') and a 3.5 HP Evinrude...it had two cylinders with a single carb...modified a bigger carb for more power and added a 12V fuel pump and 6gal portable fuel tank (rather than the gravity feed two quart tank)...lots of memories...!

The US would be screwed if CA went away. We all know that, as it's been discussed in the past. Buy itself, it's the 5th largest economy in the world, the largest sub-national economy in the world, and 15% of the total US GDP.

Similarly, we'd be screwed if Texas went away, as it makes up 10% of the US GDP, followed by NY and FL.
