Miller Bobcat voltage regulator

I have a Miller bobcat 225nt welder with an Onan P216G engine. It is not charging. I have the info on how to test the regulator but cannot find it . I have all the covers off the welder. I followed the small wires from the starter up to the top of the engine, and all wires are accounted for. None of them go to the regulator. I looked up a pic and cannot find any thing that resembles it. HELP.
