mid mower and three point hitch

have a used L3600 that I bought last fall- came with a midmower that I had removed for the winter plus a blade on the three point hitch (used for plowing my laneway). so grass cutting season is here and today I put the mower back on - do I have to remove the rear blade or is there some way to lock it up when I drop the midmower? can i drop one independently of the other? i.e have the blade down but the mower up? and vice versa?

Not sure about your l3600 but on my b7800 it uses the 3 point arms to lift mid mower. You can pin up mower deck and use 3 point hitch but you can not pin up 3 point hitch and use mower.

That's how my B2410 is, and I believe that is consistent across the models. Makes sense that you can't lock your 3 PTH and use the mower, as the mmm raises and lowers with the 3PH.

No way to do that on BX either unless you pull the pins at the top of the 3ph elbow and move them over to the little brackets hanging down. But to do that, you must manually lift the load yourself while moving the pins. Just doesn't seem worth it.

Look it over real good and see if you might be able to hook a hyd cyl to lift it off of a set of rear remote couplers.

I looked at my BX2660 today and adding a hyd. cyl. could be done without alot of work.

I sling a rope under my 3 Point arms and loop it over the folded ROPS. When the mower goes up and down, the arms stay up. Works great and easy to take on and off.
