I was riding my tractor this afternoon trying to think of a way to solve this problem....see this is tractor related. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I have a Access db used for the youth lacrosse team. All of the participants are entered including which team they are on and I have a report that generates a roster for each team. So far so Good.

I would like to print the coaches names on the correct page.....Coach A with Team A, etc There is more than one coach per team.

I have a second table with the coaches information: team, coach, phone.

How can I print the Team A coaches names on that roster, the Team B coaches on that roster, etc.

Any ideas?

I don't use access much to generate reports usually just querying data. In Excel it would be something like a vlookup function on the team and return the coaches name. The help section in Access isn't very good.

Do u know how to design a MS Acess Query? I think that will do what u want if I understand.
You need to take the 2 tables (player rosters & coaches) and link them together by like data (team?) and pull from them the list (roster with coaches) that you want.
I'll try to give you more details with Access verbage later when I have more time if you want it.
Let me know what questions that you may have...
