Hello,

The clutch in my MF3165 needs to be replaced. It's the Utility model with the AD4-203 motor. It has a dual clutch. I believe it has the manual shuttle transmission. There are three separate transmission levers: forward/reverse, high/low, and 1-2-3-4.

I found a mobile mechanic who can do the repair. He would like me to order the parts and have them ready so he can do the repair in a single trip. (He lives 70 miles away.)

Unfortunately, I'm not sure which clutch kit to order. There are several variations listed for the MF3165.
Clutch hub diameter: 1-1/8 or 1-5/8
Clutch splines: regular or fine
Spring type: heavy or medium

Is there a standard clutch assembly for the MF3165? The service manual states there are different types.

Is there a way to determine the clutch type by looking through the inspection plate underneath the clutch? Or will it require splitting the tractor and removing the clutch to see what type it is?

Thank you for your help!

May want to try Shop AGCO Parts . Hopefully they got it all broke down by type and serial number there, otherwise it will be a split and find out situation.
