I have a massey 1020 and am in need of generator but it has been discontinued. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it.

bruce welcome to tractor by net, about your 1020 massey you are using the term generator my books show it having a hitachi alternator number lr135-58b. if you cant see the numbers can you post picture of the part also the 1020 is a compact tractor with a japanese built motor by toyosha also my theory about parts they may be not available from some sources but we can find most anything with a little help let us know what it is

I would recomend bringing it to a auto electric rebuilers.
