I have a gc1725m with 15 hours on it and have noticed the steering wheel keeps turning and turning. Obviously I can turn the front wheels however once they stop the steering wheel can keep turning and turning. Any thoughts?

When the wheels are fully turned, the steering wheel may still rotate with some effort. That is normal. There are no mechanical stops for the steering wheel, it keeps going around, and around, and around.

My Massey 4707 stops…Case 595 stops and my 4210 stops. All for tractors are based on the same hydraulic steering. Could it be the orbital steering valve or a cylinder seal perhaps?

This is the way mine works as well. If you keep turning the relief valve opens, you should be able to hear this happen. It continues to turn with enough pressure applied. There is nothing wrong unless you're saying it turns just as easily when the steering ram reaches its limit as it does before that point.

Once the wheels reach the stops on the axle the wheel still keeps going with little change in resistance

I don't know anything about how it's put together, but that's not how it should work according to my experience.

I don't know what is wrong but I would doubt that it is a loose steering wheel, if that were the case I would suspect that it wouldn't turn the wheels at all. From looking at the books the steering wheel is on the end of a splined shaft.

I don't know much about hydraulic steering but the only thing my mind can think of is the the relief valve is not right. The relieve valve should be 1208 to 1280 psi. The book says that this in non-adjustable, which would mean rebuilding or replacing the steering control unit. With only 15 hours on your machine I would be calling the dealer to check it and warranty service.
