Oil & Fuel MF 245 fueling problem, injector pump??

I bought this Massey 245 with the ad3.152 Perkins diesel in it. Not running

Injector pump was not delivering fuel to injectors, plenty of diesel was comming out of supply line to injector pump.

I disassembled pump and found that the stop bar inside the top cover was frozen in the off position. I disassembled further and found the injector pump plungers frozen.

I cleaned and unstuck these and resealed with a kit along with new vanes, new vane pump bore and new vane pump end cap.

Tractor now starts but won’t idle and revs slowly.


I removed the return line at the injector pump and found pressurized fuel comming from filter housing which doesn’t seem right.. however with this line loose and the return for injector pump spilling on ground the tractor still won’t rev quickly and won’t idle


If anyone has a manual or advice I’d sure appreciate it

how did u get to the plungers.??
The most common mistake is, people don’t know that there’s a piston in the sleeve in the end plate..because it’s frozen in the sleeve..
Another common mistake is they put the pressure adjuster in up side down..
