what oil are you running? chevron full synthetic cured the problem for me. Massey oil was breaking down.

Just curious - what performance differences did you notice between full and semi synthetic?

I primarily cut grass with a 8 ft. brush hog. The front end loader if I raised it would squeal after an hour worth of running.
I had the first tractor lock up because of oil breakdown. it had the MF dino oil in it. My oil jobber customer (I own a computer company) told me to put in the chevron full synthetic. I had the oil butler come and service it and change the oil. I have never looked back. I can cut for hours and still have the viscocity. I am sending in a sample after 100 hours to see if anything has changed.

FYI I have a 1946 cj2a, a 1952 m38a1, and a 1964 Kaiser jeep. I saw your handle and just had to throw it in.
