Biggest problem; no reverse! Had to pull it out with raw muscle power, wich luckily, is no object in this case.

You could have used another just like it, faced in the other direction to pull it out, I suppose. If you choose to use that technique in the future be sure to use the correct grade chain.

NO, but we had much snow this year, and a cold April. We are one month later than usual.
But some remaining snow in May is no sensation.
Yesterday was full summer temperature and spring is now exploding.
