Items 1 and 4 are removed drawbar can stay as it needs to hold up deck pin A is removed turnbuckle flops around to end of 3point lift arm. They attach to bottom of bhoe
Look at attached pic down lo just at end o 3point arms it is pinned to backhoe

Great looking video Rob! Nice that you did it all in one cut without any editing except for your "corrections" at the end.

Next time try suspending the lower 3-pt arms by the turnbuckles hanging on the pins of the upper 3-pt arms rather than them dragging in the dirt, and having to zip-tie the turnbuckles. You might have to adjust them a bit but they will fit.

Oh. And my Max is back at the dealer getting the mower lift/height brackets installed back on.:confused2:

I got my tractor back from the dealer but the adjustment is still not right for the mower deck. Robbieo11, I know you are working on a video of installing the mower, and I am looking forward to that, but here are my questions in regard to setting up the tractor 3-pt linkage in relation to the cut height.

When I raise the height control lever to the fully raised position, it will not raise high enough to install the pin in the top 2 positions. This is true even with the Lever Adjustment Stop completely backed off. There is a set-up procedure on setting the upper stop in the Owner’s Manual on page 110, and that’s fine, but there has to be further set-up instructions for adjusting the dimensions for the throw/stroke of the 3-pt lift arms. Is there something in the Service Manual on this? I am only able to obtain those 2 heights by manually raising the 3-pt lift arms up to get the pin in. I would like to think that operators should have complete range of cut height by the 3-pt adjustment lever.

At the fully raised position of the control lever does your mower come up to the rubber bumper stops on the bottom of the tractor? Mine did not, so I raised mine fully (by force) and installed the pin at the 4” position, then I tightened the Nylock nuts on the mower suspension/tension rods until it did. Now the mower deck height is true in relation to the pin height. But again, I don’t have the full range of height with the hydraulics of the 3-pt. Only by manually forcing the 3-point arms up and stick the pin in either of the top 2 holes can I achieve and hold the deck in those locations as the pin rests on the draw bar.

The forward suspension mounting brackets (forward of the mower deck) of the mower have multiple bolt hole locations. I assume this is for locating the mower deck (fore-aft) correctly amongst different sizes of tractors. Where are your forward bracket bolts?

If you have the BH mounted, did you take off the hydraulic links and put it back into the bypass mode?

Nope. As I mentioned, I can raise it fully by adjusting the nuts on the rods, but that does nothing for the height pin bracket at the rear.
Yes, I already have the stop bolt at the lever backed off completely
Rob- I appreciate the pages, but I have all my ops manuals and I have been through them pretty thoroughly and I am confident I'm not overlooking a setup or adjustment there.

I did however answer my last question by reading closer that the multiple hole locations are for adjusting the ANGLE of the deck.

I do not have the BH mounted and yes the loopback hose is connected.

If you look underneath the seat and right rear fender you will see the shaft for the adjustment lever of the 3-pt hitch, but there is also a cantilevered threaded adjustment rod along side it too. There is nothing on this in the ops book.

the threated rods you speak of are the limits for the 3 point when they hit them the shut off the lift. this may be the issue you can attempt to adjust them.
