Thursday we went to a Mateng dealer near Evertt, Michigan. He had models 7600 and 8600 in stock.
I am not an engineer or heavy equipment operator. I've never even operated a backhoe. I did however work in a steel fabrication plant doing torch cutting, fitting and welding of steel.
I was very imprerssed with the overeall quality of these machines. The cuts, fits and welds were perfect. The paint job appeared to be high quality.
The dealer had a 7600 mounted on his tractor. Operation was impressive.
If we decide to buy we will buy Mateng. All I need to do is justify the purchase. At this point it would truly be a Big Boys Toy.
