Massey Ferguson 2360 Snowblower

Does anyone know of a MF dealer who has a hydraulic chute rotator for my 2360 snowblower? My dealer tells me that MF switched sub-manufacturers and now sells an updated blower that's completely different. I've tried contacting the Canadian manufacturer of this blower but no response (they do not sell to consumers). I need to find one on a dealer's shelf somewhere.

From what I’ve seen, the hydraulic rotator uses a different chute too. The spacing of the drive notches is different. Mine is electric, although it came with the manual crank too. Bought it at a dealer auction.

If you have some fabricating skills you could probably make your chute rotator. Our old blower was a simple cable wrapped around the chute connected to a cylinder with a pulley. Extend rotated one direction and retract the other. This was on an 8 ft blower around 50 years ago so should still work today

Is that the Canadian manufacturer MK Martin that markets snowblowers under the Meteor brand? If it is, they have parts manuals online and dealers in the US.

I adapted a small wheelchair motor to rotate my chute. It's 24V and turns it nice and slow on 12V. It did take some fabricating though.

When I converted my Woods from manual to hydraulic I found a hydraulic motor at Surplus Center, saved a bunch money works great. This was years ago.

I used a atv winch and 1/8 cable 12 volts and a 2 positipn push button mounted by my seat. I And a male and female cord that i can seperate when no blower hooked on tractor. Cheap and simple and work great
