Massey 231 fuel issue

I've been workin on my Massey Ferguson 231. I changed fuel filter an it run for bout 30 min an cut off an acts like it ran out of fuel I've bleed an bleed but still no luck I can spray a lil either an it will pick up an run on It's own for bout 45 sec to a min an cut back off. Iam so lost with this Thing where do I need to go from here

Sounds like sucking air or a restricted flow somewhere. Go over everything from the tank to the injection pump. Some pumps have a screen on the inlet line. Some tanks have a screen at the outlet.
Once you are sure you have good flow and no leaks bleed it all. Crack the injector lines and bleed them that way. If you want to save battery and starter drag it around in a higher gear and see if you can get it to clear.

That's what I kinda was thinking had a restriction some where well guess Ian gonna take it all back down an blow lines an clean it up an start over

IF you have the 3pc filter assembly.. head, filter, bottom bowl.?? Did you put the oring ON the filter??
IF SO.. that's the problem.. the oring goes UP IN the filter head NOT ON the filter..
If you put it ON the filter, it chokes off the fuel..

Yup that was the problem the o ring was in the filter I can't believe this whole time of screwing with this Thing I didn't see that it's the small stuff that kills you thanks for the help guys an thanks alot thepumpguysc

What was throwing me off is the o ring came out on top of the filter when I pulled It the first time an I looked at the filter where the slots is in top a wondered how fuel got by the o ring but lesson learned don't get in a hurry thanks again guys
