It's spring here in the SC low country too. The pear trees and the azealeas are in full bloom. Next week I have to return home to my winter ****. To top it off the water line is frozen between the house and the street and the **** thing is eight feet deep.

thanks for rubbing it in Robert,
headed for single digits again tonight,
got about 2' of snowpack IMBY
cold sticking around this week, maybe a little warm up
by the weekend, but in 6 weeks or so it'll be mother's day,
sort of hard to think it will be even green by then.

one thing i noticed during a work trip to Orlando in early Feb,
it really seemed like a lot of the vegetation was in winter mode, and
i guess living here all my life and never been in Fl in winter, i didn't think
that was the case... but, even your pictures look like spring, a time of
regrowth.. nice pictures..

It was nice seeing Green again, reminds me of land my Uncle owns by Jupiter, the last Woods around there.

Some people sure know how to make one envious. Giving snow here tomorrow. I sure wish Canada would try to contain some of that cold air and not let it keep escaping to the South.

Nice Robert. The live green was shocking!

Great pics. I really enjoyed seeing those roots!!!! Not sure why, but anytime I see a tree with roots growing out of the ground, I'm fascinated by them. Just wish we had something like that here.

I too find roots interesting, but moreover: Trees are highly under-rated. I guess you could say " I'm lichen those trees".
