Not enough, but more on the way. I just saw a 15' middlebuster at Valu-Bilt for $109. I don't know what I will use it for but since it's the cheapest implement I can find I think I'll buy it now and figure out what to use it for later.:D

6.1:1.

Got one (a double disk) in pieces so I count it as 1/2 'cause it is 1/2 finished.

I'm going to go with 14:1.
I'll list them so youall can disqualify any you see fit to.
FEL, BH, BH thumb, BB, RB, rake, spring tooth, tiller, spike harrows, 1 bottom plow, middlebuster/subsoiler, FEL pallet forks, FEL brush forks, 3PH pallet forks.

Essential to my operation, but no tractor needed:
1990 MYD riding lawn mower.
5' x 10' 7K# elec/hyd dump trailer.
1950~ Fitchberg chipper, I6 Ford powered.

No dawgs
No catz
No birdz
No fishes
No live-in girls
No dependants
Full frig of beer :)

I think it's best to keep it like start trek does with their mater / anti-amter ratio... 1:1

Makes hookup way easier if ya got each implement on a tractor. And heck.. you might as well have a spare tractor or two just in case one takes a day off!

I posted to mars1952 post a little while ago and it got me to thinking(?), he has a nice list of implements in his profile, and a list of things he is going to acquire/build, but only 1 tractor. What is your implement to tractor ratio?

15 implements, 3 tractors,= 5:1**

1 tractor: 8 implements. Pretty soon I'll hook up a Generator to the pto, and the log splitter's hydraulic pump, then I'll have 10. I'm tired of messin' with small gas engines. Now if only I could figure out how to run a chain saw with the tractor, maybe a hydraulic motor?

Hmm. I guess I'm average at 5-1. Better start buying more of each! ;)

I 've got 15 implements and 2 tractors = 7.5:1. This doesn't count the RTV with the front snow blade though being as it's not really a tractor.

Oops, I forgot my bushhog and RFM, 16:1.

(Slamfire, they do make hydro pole saws for orchard pruning so, your idea may be available or coming.)

Almost got one of those on eBay a couple months ago. It was pneumatic, rather than hydro, though. PTO compressor and a whole batch of different pruning heads on telescoping poles. Unfortunately, some folks who knew what it was worth found it, too.

I'm sad to report I'm only 2:1 right now (counting my FEL). I should be getting a bush hog soon, so that makes me feel better. :D

It seems we all have more implements than tractors. I would love to know if anyone has more tractors than implements. Now that would be noteworthy distinction! :)

15 implements to 2 tractors = 7.5 ratio

/ Man Law--Implement to tractor ratio... #36
Ben I think Soundguys got us on that one. Im at 5-1. does a welding trailer count ? if so that lets my 18ft flatbed trl count....No! that would be an implement for my implements? jb

/ Man Law--Implement to tractor ratio... #37
I would say 5:1

FEL
RB
BB
Trailer mover
homemade subsoiler that hooks to the trailer mover

6:1 if you count the MMM:)

/ Man Law--Implement to tractor ratio... #38
kioti ck20,FEL, BH ,RB ,48" TILLER, 48"BHOG , 36"DIRT SCOOP, SUBSOILER, 10,000#WINCH, 3PT FORKS, PHD,60"snow blower

I guess that makes it 11:1 for me not counting garden tractors and mowers.

CASE 444, 50" MOWER, 50" snow blower
ALLIS CHALMERS B-1, 42" mower, 42" blade
Dixon 42" ZTR mower.

/ Man Law--Implement to tractor ratio... #39
3:1 although ask me in a couple of weeks and it will be up to 4:1 and by this summer it should be up to 5-6: 1

rear blade
brush hog
MMM

to add in a couple of weeks
PHD

by this summer
BB
tiller
boompole
tractor driven gennerator

yet to aquire
QA set up for the FEL
QA forks
QA grappel on rootrake/rock bucket

Lets see....
Massey Harris 50 with trip loader.
Massey Ferguson 35 with power steering and a hydraulic loader (no down Pressure) & Davis 220 backhoe
Wagner loader with no tractor
New Holland baler
Carrington Terracer (fancy name for a rear blade)
Ford snowplow fit for MF 35
Home built snowplow for MH 50
Ber Vac 60" snow blower
Two Ferguson single bottom plows
Dearborn 3pt disc harrow
stone boat
home built rear forks
Massey Ferguson landscape rake
home built 48" Log Splitter
Dearborn cordwood saw
two home built cordwood trailers
utility trailer
Dearborn cutter bar mower
Woods brush mower
dump rake

And that is still not enough!

Whew! I had to take off my shoes to count it all! But I think that makes 22 attachments and two tractors. And that doesn't count the 3 1/2 David Bradleys with 11 attachments.

It is really nice to have two tractors. Although they have identical engines, trannys and rears, the 50 is more rugged but the 35 is more nimble with the backhoe off.

I have to envy you guys with the new 4wd tractors though. I would like one but they are just too pricey.

Eric
