ThisMaybe not technically an emergency brake, but my brakes have a locking lever. Also always put my bucket and/or 3pt implement down when I get off the tractor.

EXACTLY.This
Without shutting off the tractor while connecting a PTO-driven implement, I realize it's not likely, but I would be afraid of a "freak" occurrence where the PTO might engage accidentally. I wouldn't do electrical wiring on live wires.Three of my four tractors have a separate parking brake; IH 574, Branson 8050, and New Holland 8160.
The Kioti CK2620 does not have a separate parking brake but does have a latch for the service brake.
I almost never shut off a tractor while connecting an implement, either towed or mounted, two tractors have fender mounted lift arm controls and one has an operable lift arm control from the rear.
There's a "Park position"???If you get off the tractor you put the transmission in the Park position

I relate to that; I bought an 8 month old Hafflenger stud. I was working with him to lead and follow me. I felt the lead rope tighten up, turned around just in time to be under him rearing and walking toward me.Like working around a young horse, always be ready to move out of the way.
Keep your head on straight, eyes open, and be safe. If you think it's dangerous it's probably deadly.
