Making trailer mover quick hitch compatible

/ Making trailer mover quick hitch compatible #11
Drilling the holes and attaching it was pretty simple. I forgot how much it would raise the top pin. Adjusting the top hook high enough works to hold the top, but it will interfere with the gooseneck hitch when turning.

The easy way to solve this and make it so I don't have to adjust the top hook would be to add more plate lower and a new pin location.

It would be easier to just buy a quick hitch compatible mover if I didn't already own this one. If I was doing a a bunch of trailer moving, I'd go that route.

The other thing is that the original pin mounts get in the way to just slide the hitch in place. I'll cut them down once I'm sure I'm going to stay on this path. I'll have to measure to see if the pieces I need to cut off will be large enough for what I need on the top part. I doubt I'd be that lucky.

Why not add a spacer under the Gooseneck Ball ? Purchase a Shaft Collar for what ever size of shank on the ball.

I just mounted a ball hitch receiver on top of my front bucket. Curl it over to hook it to any height hitch. I got a bolt-on from Temu really cheap. I was surprised by how strong and well-made it is.

I just welded a receiver tube to the qh and pin in a hitch for the trailer
