Have a Kubota B6100E with a 675 CC 3 cyl diesel. Runs and starts very good, no black or blue smoke when running. Problem is oil level keeps rising and blows out of the crankcase vent. I think it is getting diesel fuel into the crankcase, I guess it could be bad injectors or piston rings but it runs and starts so good and has good compression, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Elmer

Diesel? ... Is the oil real thin? Do a smell test. Could be that from internal injector pump leak - or else hyd fluid getting in thru hyd pump seals.

Thanks, never thought about hydraulic pump, will see if it is getting low. Changed motor oil about a week ago, it was about a quart over full as I drained out almost 5 quarts and the motor oil capcity is 4 qts.

Did it smell like oil, or diesel? A whole quart of diesel should be noticeable.:confused3:

deffinately check any hyd sumps that have pumps common tot he engine.. gotta be that or diesel, if the oil is not emulsified. if it was.. then check coolant..

Go to a company like Blackstone and get a used oil sample bottle. Send in sample to receive a used oil analysis. They will tell you very clearly if there is excessive diesel or anti-freeze/coolant in the system. If you think it may be hydraulic oil, send in a sample of virgin oil to compare used analysis and new oil. Philip.

Could it be the fuel pump? Took the injector pump apart and see no seals whatsoever that would let fuel leak into crank case. Am sure it is diesel not hydraulic oil. Changed oil again, ran for 3 hours and it added about 10 ounces to the gallon of oil I used. Fuel pump bolts into the crankcase sump, think there must be a seal on the fuel pump plunger, if it is bad, think fuel would leak into crankcase.

Sometimes coolant will get into the oil and do that. Usually when that happens the oil begins to look like chocolate milk instead of sooty oil.

Am sure it is diesel fuel, not water or hydraulic fluid. Think the only place that could happen is if were flooding and going past the rings but it runs and starts perfect and no black or blue smoke. Took the injector pump apart, there are no seals that would allow diesel into oil pan. Only thing left that I know of is the fuel pump.
