mainline 2 wheel tractor

hello, I just bought a mainline 2 wheel tractor made by S.E.P. at an auction and i am trying to figure it out. First question that would awnser all of my questions is where can i find a manual for it? If that doesnt work how do i turn the handle bars around (it seems to be stuck on something) Second what size motor is an acme ALN215WB? Third is there any way to put a hitch on this tractor so i could pull a cart or other things? Im sorry for all of the question but any info would be greatly apprecated.

Welcome to the 2 wheel tractor world, if your tractor is in good shape, it will work for you for years. If you need any parts or information, just call (502) 494=3988 and ask for Joel.
If anyone can get a manual for your model, he'll be the one. The Mainline is the forerunner of the BCS and have corresponding models so parts should not be a problem at all.

Hey Milkman,

Not to split hairs, but Mainline was an importer of BCS through the 70's until 1982. They then dropped BCS when BCS started importing their own machines and started importing SEP in 1983. I have Mainline sales literature from 1982 talking up the Mainline BCS machines and literature from 1983 talking about the "All new!" Mainline SEP machines. They really made it seem like they designed and built their own machines when all they did was put a sticker on whatever they were importing.

Thanks for the clarification, I remember the Mainline name from looking for 2 wheeled tractor before I bought my 735 in '87. The dealer in Bardstown Ky, quit handling BCS and now Joel is the one I deal with, but he's over 2 hrs away, but ships really fast.That explains why they looked the same, just different name.
