Why do these guys put up wrong information on their website? I just don't get it, this is not a small company, but they seem to not proof read their stuff. There have been and are mistakes from earlier changes and additions, but when they list out the flagship of the fleet so to speak (cab 8560) and have several incorrect listings about it, well it sure does not look good or seem right to me. But hey, what do I know, I'm just Joe consumer that doesn't know anything.

And theyll be keeping us that way. I went thru this crap too when buying mine [7520] and trying to get to know it with a blend of data and experience. Pretty frustrating.:(

That is pretty bad Brian. Between the feature page and the spec page someone misplaced 4 gears in the transmission! One says 12 speed transmission and the other says 16 speed transmission.:confused2: I sent out an email notifying hopefully the right folks about it.

Take a look at the 4530 page. The bottom photo showing all the features is actually a 5530.

Another thing that gets me is that they do not list out all the different options that are available for each tractor. They may list a few, but they DO NOT list them all. How in the world is any newbie supposed to know what to even ask about when so much stuff is simply not ever mentioned. And as far as the dealers helping you out, as we all know, there are a lot of them that know far less than we as buyers know.

I agree about their website. Have told my dealer a couple times that link to their website is not shown there, and they say they will contact them and get it on there, but it's still not there. Aaron

I sent the email to the guys that do the advertising for Mahindra USA. I also got a reply and they will look into it.

Well, visiting the site did me a lot of good. After all these years still a virtual random mix of incomplete, incorrect, misleading, non cohesive data. How can a company publicly exhibit going anywhere [good] in this manner?

A lot of the time I'm afraid that these people actually do not know any better, and that is what SCARES ME!

I wonder if this is due to a problem in India, or in Houston, Texas. Whom ever the webmaster is, they need to be fired. The Mahindra USA site has been quite frustrating over the years.

OK, how many do we have now? Maybe someone that knows more than ME should write something up for everyone to sign and send it to Mahindra! Aaron

I've seen this complaint numerous times in the 5 years I've been on TBN. I would have thought that the Mahindra dealers would have rebelled and gotten this mess fixed by now. I know a lot of those dealers follow TBN threads and are familiar with the problems on the Mahindra website.

My dealer claims Mahindra is hard to deal with. I am inclined to believe this slant to a degree. It seems neither side is as proactive as they should be. I had to go directly to a tech rep that used to service my dealers area to get the things I needed for my tractor. This tech rep was reassigned right about when I bought my tractor and I followed him by phone at the dealers urging after having long term no luck with his replacement. Hes the only genuinely knowledgeable and helpful person I have found in the company. Perhaps he spoiled my dealer to think that Mahindra was responsive when it was him knowing and pulling the right strings. :confused2::(

This is one of the things that kills me about big companies. You get an answer saying that it can't be done when it was just done a week earlier by someone else. I believe that most things can get done if the right people with the right attitude get involved. But unfortunately it seems as though so many people just don't care and it is easier to say no than it is to say yes we'll take care of it and actually follow through.

At one time Mahindra USA had a rep on here who seemed interested, and willing to help with our concerns. Seems like it's been a couple of years since we've heard from him. :(

That is who I emailed.

Well, here's some Mahindra stuff online that's gotta make you smile. Mahindra 3535 lifting a John Deere and a Kubota...at the SAME TIME! That's Mahindra power, baby! Check it out:

YouTube - Man Lifts Tractor

Neat video.
Not surprising though. My Mahindra 5525 is a real beast---heavy, strong. And loud (as the Lord intended diesels to be).

I agree Mahindras are beasts. But tell me how many people you know buy a new tractor, build lifting frames to fit their buddies tractors (look close you'll see them), stage a BBQ that is scripted, and do their own High quality videos all just to get their tractor washed for a year.

I am not putting down Mahindra I own one. I know exactly what it will do. What I don't appreciate is someone posing as a happy owner and staging a commercial telling everyone that he did it on a whim. If you want to produce YouTube or TV commercials, label them as such.

Take a look at the 4530 page. The bottom photo showing all the features is actually a 5530.

The 5530 photo at the bottom with callouts is just a representative photo of the whole 30 Series. See above it where it says '30 SERIES FEATURES'. It needs to be better displayed as such. "5530 shown. Features apply to all 30 Series Models."

Dave,
Thanks for explaining this to everyone.:)
