Price Check Mahindra/Kodiak Implement$$

I'm taking a trip to my local Mahindra dealer tomorrow to look at a piece of equipment. While I am there, I thought I would price two implements for my 5530: 8' Heavy Duty Box Box Blade and 8' Heavy Duty Landscape Rake.

Is anyone using these units? Happy with performance?? Any idea of current pricing???

I can't speak for the rake or box blade, but if either of one of the two are built as good as Kodiak's rotary cutters and tillers, they are of excellent quality.

I hear nothing but good comments on Kodiak implements. I would say for the money and quality you won't go wrong. Just my two cents worth.

Well I came home with the Landscape Rake. He didn't have the 8' boxblade in stock. I didn't even get a price on it... I ended up trading him a New Holland 72" rear finish mower that I had no use for. I bought it last month for $275. I can't complain! Oh yeah, and he is going to work up a deal on an 1816. He sold his last one this morning. It seems like there are a few out there (1816's)that are 1-2 years old that have been sitting on dealer lots and may be slightly weathered. There is extra money (rebates?) on these so they move the units. Fingers crossed...
