Mahindra 3215 starts but dies after a few seconds

I have a Mahindra 3215 gear drive that will start then runs for a few seconds then dies. Fuel filter and eveything looks good. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas of what could be causing it to die?

Have you checked the fuel shut off solenoid fuse and solenoid?

After a little checking I think it is the solenoid, but I am having problems finding a replacement part. The only part, after looking at the parts diagrams, that I can find that even comes close to resembling the solenoid is called the pump assembly, fuel. Would that be the solenoid? I have checked several different parts sites and that is all I can find. Nothing that says solenoid.

fuel filter may look good but could still be partially plugged. Also check your fuses. Start with the easy things first.

I have checked the fuel filter and the fuses, I was hoping that it was one of them so it would be an easy fix. But no such luck, they all look good.

Check your fuel lines for a piece of debris acting like a check valve. Back blow them with compressed air.

Also, your operator's manual has a recommended number or hours at which you are supposed to drain your fuel tank for debris removal. I went nine years before doing mine, with never a problem. However, you should drain yours when you hit the number of hours, or just for good measure.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will give them a try. The tractor is actually at my parents house, dad borrowed it, so I haven't been able to work on it just had him try some things. I am heading out there today and will give the suggestions a try.

Usually, (I understand) if you give them the key to the equipment/vehicle, they are responsible for it....BobG in VA

I did find one fuse blown but tractor is still acting the same. Does anybody know where the shutoff solenoid and shutoff solenoid fuse are located?
