New member here and new to tractors. Purchased a well used 2815 with a front end loader. Got a good price because it needed some work. Have worked thru some of it. Updated loader brackets, fix leak, doing the basic fluid and filter changes. Now going to be focusing on why the 4wd doesn't engage. Have been told that it could be a very simple coupler repair and from what I can tell that is the cause as the shift into the front axle spins freely. What I am wondering is has anyone done this repair?if so any tips? Is it really as straightforward as it seems or am I kidding myself. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
