Magnetic-base LED strobe --> plastic roof ??

I have a magnetic mount led mini light bar on the roof of my Kubota. I mount metal covers for eletricial boxes with double sided tape. Works fine you just have to watch for branches knocking the light off the roof.

If I did that it would be clearly visible for 360ｰ, a legal requirement here. It would also dump too much strobe light into the cab.
