I'm looking at a 2002 M9000 and wondered what those with experience with this particular tractor thought of it. I've read that there can be issues with the clutch and cab AC.

Cab, Heat & Air, with Bush Hog M546 Loader and 80" QT Bucket & Hay Spear, 3 Remotes, 18.4-30's @ 75%, 12.4-24's @ 70%, Joystick Control, A/C Blows Cold, Showing 696 Hours, Actual Hours Unknown.

I use an M8200 at work, its been fairly reliable but the small dry clutch is a weak point for heavy loader work. We are on our 3rd in 3600 hrs. The AC has always been iffy with ours. This tractor has been run hard and put away wet its entire life and is mostly doing work it was never intended for so I cannot put blame entirely on the machine.
I would consider one for myself if a good deal ever presented itself for putting up hay and general chore work. If you are tall the cab does feel cramped after a long days work. My main complaint is how light it feels even with loaded tires, cast centers and wheel weights along with a 400lb counterweight.

Thanks for the insight. Being light was the other thing I have read about as well. So clutch, AC and being light. Anything else I need to know before I cross the M9000 off my list?

Have a buddy with a low profile version. He has power reverser. No clutch problems but did have a hydraulic pump failure. Several dealers said it was a rare failure. Other than that the only complaint is the factory seat. It was pitched forward and was always trying to dump you out. I've run it at different times and seams to be a solid tractor.

Thanks. I'm still looking and have not crossed it off the list.

I have a 2004 M9000 and have not had an issue with the tractor. I would buy it again!
