I don't have a 7060, but my 6060 is around 2 years old and has never had any braking issues.

I hope Kubota and your dealer will resolve this quickly for you.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your insight. I am unsure how to proceed. What do think I can expect, what would you do??

Buy from the quality dealer. Don't confuse price and value. The right dealer can make a bad situation good while the wrong dealer can make an everyday task unpleasant. I once broke a BIG u-joint on a baler when I lived in the middle of nowhere and had 2200 potential bales raked up. My nearest and only dealer said to start driving and he would figure something out before I got there. He yanked a whole pto shaft off a new machine, tossed in the truck as I rolled by and said we'll figure the rest out later. 2200 bales saved and it started to rain on the last few bales.

How much of a "Nightmare Scenario" is the procedure you are suggesting? Would the machine be 100% afterwards?

Thanks again!
Patrick

My experience with Kubota has been better than great. They treat you as you would want to be treated, solve the problem regardless of where it takes them and pick up the tab.

Thanks, My first Kubota has been a pleasure for 12 years. I have nothing but praise, that's why I was shocked when this occurred at the "other" dealer. When it happened at my favorite dealer, I almost ****! The owner was in the cab with me when the pedal dropped the first time and is determined to get to the bottom of it. The first machine that this occurred on, (that I had money down on), had the brakes bled, waited overnight in shop, still NG. I withdrew my down payment, and was advised that the machine had healed overnight, if I was still interested. I wont be going back there...

JWR, FWA engagement when braking has been around since the 1990's on tractors that used electric switch to engage front axle and had brake light switches in the brake pedals. Simply closed the FWA circuit when you pushed both brakes down.

Appreciate the info. I had JD for 10 years and MF since 2011. All of mine had mechanical lever engagement of the FWD and none had brake lights.

Reading through these posts, It brought forward a few thoughts. I remember stopping by the dealers when they were assembling and prepping My tractor. Once they had it all together they were out in the yard and working the tractor in both directions (left and right) and working through the brake system they were probably doing that for 45 minutes or longer, So, perhaps your dealer in their pre-delivery process may have overlooked or perhaps didn't do it long enough to get the system totally purged. I have never had any issue with my 7060's brakes.

Cheers

Thanks Roger, I appreciate your contribution. I am feeling more confident that this will be sorted out! Do you love your 7060? - I already know the answer!

I do like it!! For it's intended purpose, mowing wellsite accesses and the occasional blading / grading job it is a nice little tractor, I love the E PTO system, as well as the overdrive as I put a mile or two on travelling to different sites. I also installed creeper gears for when I use My rototiller just for a little better gear selection, as well I think it also adds to resale value. I have yet to use the loader on it. as I have one on my M108, I purchased a couple of "pork Chop" aluminum toolboxes ( the type that go along the inside of truck box and up to the wheel wells)and lightly framed them in and mounted to existing loader brackets. they then act as front fenders, and now have lockable stowage for tools, grease gun, mower expendables etc. Takes less than a minute to mount them, 1 pin.

Cheers

Roger

Your description historically would indicate air in the brake system or need for adjustment. IMO a pressure bleeder would do a better job to insure no air in the system. If a technician takes both hyd & mech apart, sees nothing broken, puts it back together and the problem is truly fixed, then there was air in the system or some adjustment not correct to begin with and subsequently resolved during assembly. My 2014 m7060 hdc12 @ 250 hrs. has no brake issues.
