Price Check M7040 purchase price?

Anyone buy or price one recently? Want to buy soon.

Got mine priced-up at 2 dealers with the following equip:
'09 "leftover" M 7040 4x4 HDC-1
Cab
LA 1153 self level loader w/ 84" material bucket
Hyd shuttle
R-1's
Cast rear wheels
Kubota 3rd func. remote valve & lines run out front
2 rear remotes
Air seat
rear wiper
rear defrost w/ 80A alt.
Rim gaurd

$44K + tax sound good? I thought it was a tad high, but when don't I?

A 2010 would cost $800 more and take a month to get. I can get the '09 from dealer stock in ~2 weeks (dealer needs time to add options).

seems like you could get an m8540 for that price.

The one I priced has like 5-6K in options over a base model.

My advice is to price it out on the Kubota web site (Build Your Own feature) with all of the extras and then take off 10 - 15% to get the dealer price range.

The basic cab, 4WD, and hyraulic shuttle is $38K+ with not a single option - not even a loader.
