Buying Advice M54040 Cab value

The local credit union has a 2008 M5040 cab tractor up for bids. The tractor has loader mounts but the loader is not on it. Not sure whats up with that. It has 1800 hours and other than the Kubota pink fenders and wheels, it looks pretty good in the pictures. Only other thing I could see from limited pictures is that it only has one rear remote and is a hydraulic shuttle transmission. I'll probably take a look at it Friday and maybe make an offer. So what would you offer? Tractor only, and tractor with loader if it is available?

can't help w/price..... is it 4wd? i'd price a new fel/installation from dealer to start off and add to your budget. won't be cheap. having only 1 remote is limiting
also, is this a repo? does it come with a service history, from dealer? if it is a repo, the maintenance history could be iffy if they couldn't handle the payments. i'd start by learning more about it's history, & bring a good mechanic w/you to check it out good luck

I have and wouldn't offer their asking prices. The're kind of all over the place in price and seems they are either open station or have loaders.

It is 4wd. I found one loader on TractorHouse for $7100. It is a repo, so probably not going to have any history on it. No dealer sticker, although it most likely to come from one of two closer dealers. I've about talked myself out of even making an offer. The one remote, lack of a loader, and that tractor not having a mid PTO for a snow blower makes it less than my ideal tractor. Thanks for the reply guys.
