I am a retired microwave (electrical) engineer who has decided to try the country life in Northern Idaho. I have 25+ acres that is part wildland and part forest except for a few acres for my home, barn and a pond. I just had the pond deepened so I could put some fish in it but in general I am either a phony rancher or phoney farmer I can't decide which since I don't raise any crops or have any animals. I would be interested in planting something for the deer, elk and moose that frequent this area but haven't done anything yet. My first year which is about to end has been mostly spent remodeling the 25 year old house we moved into.
