LX 266 seat replacement

Now that I got the LX going great again, I am in need of a seat. $230.00 at my local Deere dealer. Complete seat, plastic shell and all. I kinda got the idea from some folks there that it may be worth shopping around. I don't have anything against dealers, just thought I should shop around a bit. Brand is not important, fit and quality is.

Weird. What the heck were they selling me? My son said the same thing, about 160.00.

Maybe the complete setup, with the plastic base and the springs.
Have them show you the schematic.. or you can look at it in jdparts yourself too.

I like to go with the yellow jd seats.. and I complain that they don't last near long enough before getting ugly cracks... but for me, just the cost of owning.
