Do LS dealers not stock many tractors on their lots or something? I've never visited one so that's why I asked. Deere and Kubota around here have rows and rows of tractors from the smallest to the biggest it seems. They have all the transmissions and configurations you could dream of. I've heard of ordering a tractor but it never seemed to take long and they usually could get what you wanted without ordering, unless you had specific options that only the factory could add.
Are you looking. 🙈

Dealer ordered my XR 4140 and told me it would be about 2 weeks. Exactly 2 weeks later he called and said it was there, I went to sign the papers the next day about 1 pm it was delivered at 3:30

I had 25 bags of cement on the front loader today.80 pounds in each bag,2000 pounds total, picked it up and hauled it with ease. This loader also has a self leveler. The tractor has more bells and whistles then a new car.I am not sure yet if that is good or bad.Its got ding dongs going off at times I have no idea what they are for,but I am sure I will learn as I use it more.

I am spoiled, snowed today Ice on the windshield, defrost took it off pretty quick.Has a good heater had to turn it down and the best part a dry seat..That instrument cluster sure is pretty.I am going to add a camera for the forks,a tool box and a couple more lights.I am pretty happy with the lights it has already, but a couple more out front will help.

So far I am very pleased with this tractor. My Montana was made by LS but was not near as refined,or near as strong. The Montana had plastic fenders and hood, this one has all metal. My dip stick on the Montana was a job to get too.The loader and exhaust made it hard to check. The dip stick on this one is extremely simple to check.

As I get to know it better I will try to post its good and bad points.I am not good on posting pics, but you can see it on the website. It really does look like the one on the site.

Does the rear window fog up bad? The defroster in my xr4046 sucks can't keep rear window clear.

I used the tractor today to plow snow and all of the windows fogged up.I believe anytime you suck in moist air it will fog up.Especially when a cold wet body gets enclosed in the cab. So I turned the air conditioner on and the windows cleared pretty fast.

Hey Wampum
Sorry to bother you, but I’m curious to how your XU is holding up as I’m planning on buying one next month. Thank You

I move a lot of snow here. I run my defroster full blast, fan on high and temp up all the way. I do keep the right side cracked window open. Never had windows fog up in past 4 years.
