lower hyd pressure

As most everyone did, I changed the hyd oil in my 4100 to the newer low viscosity oil from JD. I noticed that the lifting power has diminished on the FEL and this coincided with the change in hyd oil. Has anyone else noticed this and how much of a hassle is it to boost the output of the pump? From what I have read, it requires a shim or two.

Jeff, thanks, I knew I saw a post on this a while ago. the hyd tester looks easy enough to make up.
