I have a small, 7.5 acre, farm in Kentucky and spent too many years plowing our long driveway on a compact diesel without a cab. I now own a Kubota LX2620HSD with heat and air. Instead of freezing and suffering in the freezing cold now I can enjoy clearing the snow in comfort.

Quite the opposite here. Used to have a Fordson Super Major, and slashing 30 or so acres in the summer heat with dust and chaff getting up your nostrils was not much fun. Now, on our really hot days, the tractor cabin is the best place to stay cool!

BTW, what took you so long to post? ;)

a cab does make a big difference, both winter and summer! I was out plowing a blizzard in 2016 and ended up with about 24 hours in seat time. It was brutal.
That spring I bought a cab tractor.

Cabs are the best. You don't have to worry about getting caught in a thunderstorm on the far end of your property or running over a yellow jacket nest!

Cabs and ROPS don't like trees though, unless all limbs under 10' high are removed.

I would have love to get a cabbed tractor with my recent purchase. While it would fit in the barn, all maintenance is done in garage. even ROPS has to be put down. Also much work. 50 in the woods. But I do wish I had one cutting field.

Congratulations on the new Kubota, that cab has to be a game changer for any weather. 🍻
