Lotus # LTAW2000D?? Never heard of that model #

I have the Lotos LTPDC2000d

3 in 1 200 amp tig,stick, 50 amp pilot arc plasma cutter

It has worked well- other than needing to clean the contacts in the plasma cutter torch handle,

going on 3 years of use so far. for what it cost it has been a good deal.

If you buy 1 I would suggest working it hard right of the bat- that's what I did if it makes it through the free return period you will probably be OK

Any sort of "FREE RETURN PERIOD" from the Philippines, might be somewhat problematic.

Not a problem with the return, Everything at the 2 stores is guaranteed for a full year. They test everything that goes out the door..even light bulbs..

True- OP may want to find out EXACTLY what the (local) Philippines store's warranty return/replacement policy is first.

The lotos are very inexpensive units - for the power output and duty cycle specs. but if you get a bad unit, then it can be a headache.

If buying new Miller, Lincoln, Hypertherm for the same jobs he can probably buy a better condition Jeep instead- maybe even 2

Can't find Miller or Lincoln here or I would but them. I have to drive 5 hours just to get inch sized wrenches.. lol We already know how they stand by there customers here , our China made generator had a leaky petcock and they fixed it free,, and our gas stove blew it's igniter and that was replaced free.. So i'm not too worried about replacing a 135 dollar welder..

As for the Jeep lol 1943 Willys walk a few feet in my shoes.. Everything here is steel and concrete not much woodworking so the welder will get many other projects done as well..

I assume the Lotos you are talking about is a 120V unit.
Wouldn't a 240V unit be better in the Philippines?
