I don't know the model but this Lawn and garden tractor is about 5 years old (John Deere Hydrostatic).The unit has lost some oil but not sure if all or not. It belongs to my SIL and they used the quad to tow it between bin sights for mowing and clearing . It appears the towing will have pushed out the oil ,I would like some help from anyone with an understanding of the system and thoughts as to whether it just pushed the oil out of the reservoir or if it will have done internal damage to the pump and or motor .The easy first test would be refill it and try drive but does it even sound like a worth while try. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated .Thanks for any help.
